I cant remember exactly but ultimately you will download a program plus the data onto an SD card then run the prog.As a point, and in the case of my system, you may need a larger SD card than the one provided by Citroen, this is to do with the data not being compressed, but a fiver for all the latest maps (UK and Eur) isn't much to ask. The Peugeot Alert Zones are updated even more frequently (once a month). You can subscribe to a monthly update to be sure to have the most accurate information. In this new map update approximately 24 481 roundabouts, 385 133 street names, 25 092 one way streets and 62 208 turn restrictions have been added or amended.
Any decisions about expanding this campaign to other vehicles or other model years will be made at a later date as per the story that I posted yesterday. I have received numerous e-mails and comments on the blog from owners of Hyundai Canada vehicles today tipping me off to the fact that Hyundai Canada will be rolling out updates to give 2017 vehicles Apple CarPlay in January. Says: With this update, both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are compatible with the Elantra sedan, Elantra GT, Sonata (except hybrid), Tucson, Santa Fe Sport, and Santa Fe XL vehicles for the 2017 model year in the Canadian market.I should mention that Hyundai Canada’s priority has been 2017 model year vehicles that had Android Auto but were lacking Apple CarPlay. Several of them forwarded an e-mail response from Hyundai Canada which I have printed below:Thank you for your email on Apple Car Play with Hyundai vehicles.Hyundai Auto Canada does not have control over what programs are included in the Navigation updates on Canadian vehicles.
